Applications
Sulfanilic acid azochromotrop is used as an indicator for complexometric determinations of zirconium and thorium. It is used as a reagent for drinking and wastewater analysis using Hach Method 8029, Fluoride, SPADNS Method.

Solubility
Soluble in water (10 mg/ml), and ethanol (1 mg/ml). very slightly soluble or insoluble in alcohol and organic solvents.
