Applications

It finds application in food, cosmetics and pharmaceutical sectors. It is used as a liquid soap, jewelry polish, detergent, pet shampoo, surfactant and wetting agent. It is also involved as anti-microbe to treat malaria, lower cholesterol, support to immune system, in bone strength and for hyper tension. Further, it is used as animal feed and an automobile cleaner.
