How to Manage Multi-Channel Data
Often, optical and spectroscopy data are stored as independent channels - each containing unique information as image fields. This tutorial explains how to relate 2 or more datasets in Amira-Avizo Software using the Multi-channel Field object.
This tutorial covers how to manage Multi-channel Fields in Amira and Avizo. These are common for optical and spectroscopy data types. The software can relate an arbitrary number of channels with the Multi-channel Field object. The video covers how to instantiate a Multi-channel Field, add displays, and manage the colors of displayed data.
Note: many image processing tools in the software work on a single channel at a time. The Multi-channel Field is primarily used for co-visualization in the Project Workroom.
