Western blot analysis was performed on Tissue extracts (30 µg lysate) of Mouse brain (Lane 1), Rat brain (Lane 2) and whole cell extracts of Neuro2a (Lane 3), IMR32 (Lane 4), T98G (Lane 5), NIH/3T3 (Lane 6), HeLa (Lane 7) and HepG2 (Lane 8). The blots were probed with Anti-Nde1 Recombinant Rabbit Superclonal™ Antibody (Product # 711424, 1 µg/mL). A 40 kDa band corresponding to Nde1 was observed across the cell lines and tissues tested. Target Information
NDE1 is s a member of the nuclear distribution E (NudE) family of proteins. It is localized at the centrosome and interacts with other centrosome components as part of a multiprotein complex that regulates dynein function. NDE1 protein plays an essential role in microtubule organization, mitosis and neuronal migration. Mutations to the gene lead to Lissencephaly 4 (LIS4) and Microhydranencephaly (MHAC).
