Complement Factor D Antibody (MA5-24258) in WB
Western blot analysis of Complement Factor D in mouse adipose tissue. Samples were incubated in Complement Factor D monoclonal antibody (Product # MA5-24258) using a dilution of 2 µg/mL followed by a HRP-conjugated Anti-Rat IgG secondary antibody. A specific band was detected for Complement Factor D/Adipsin at approximately 40 kDa (as indicated). This experiment was conducted under reducing conditions.

Reconstitute at 0.5 mg/mL in sterile PBS.
Target Information
Complement factor D is a serine protease of the alternative pathway of complement activation. The protein is a single chain polypeptide with a molecular mass of 25 kDa. Factor D cleaves factor B bound to C3b, generating the alternative pathway C3 convertase C3bBb and releasing the Ba fragment.
