MDC1 Antibody (PA5-115559) in IHC (P)
Immunohistochemistry analysis of MDC1 in mouse testis tissue. Samples were treated with formaldehyde and treated with citrate buffer for antigen retrieval, blocked, and incubated (1.5 hours at 22°C) with polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-115559) at a dilution of 1:100. Secondary staining was applied with HRP conjugated anti-Rabbit.

Target Information
MDC1 participates in the early response to DNA damage. It is thought to be a member of the BRCT (BRCA1 C-terminus) super family of nuclear proteins. It contains an N-terminus forkhead-associated (FHA) motif, two C-terminus BRCT motifs and 13 internal repetitions of a 41 amino acid sequence.
