VCAM-1 Antibody (PA5-87406) in WB
Western blot analysis of VCAM-1 in extracts of HUVEC cells. Samples were incubated with VCAM-1 Polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-87406) using a dilution of 1:500, followed by HRP Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG (H+L) secondary antibody at a dilution of 1:10,000. HUVEC cells were treated by Human Tumor Necrosis Factor-alpha (hTNF-alpha) (10 ng/mL) for 16 hours. Lysates/proteins: 25 µg per lane. Blocking buffer: 3% nonfat dry milk in TBST. Detection: ECL Basic Kit. Exposure time: 90s.

VCAM-1 is a cell surface sialoglycoprotein expressed by cytokine activated endothelium. The protein has a number of functions including the regulation of leukocyte migration, leukocyte-endothelial cell adhesion and signal transduction and may play a role in a number of inflammatory diseases.
