Jean-Marc Böhlen, PhD

Product Applications Manager, Thermo Fisher Scientific

Jean-Marc Böhlen is a Product Applications Manager at Thermo Fisher Scientific, overseeing inclusion analysis by spark OES and collaborating with partners in the metallurgical industry. Since 2001, he has been part of the optical emissions team focused on spark OES spectrometers.

Accomplishments

Jean-Marc Böhlen holds a master's degree in chemistry and a PhD in the field of NMR spectroscopy from the University of Lausanne. Following several postdoctoral positions specializing in NMR spectroscopy and imaging, he spent six years as an application chemist at Bruker NMR. In 2001, he joined Thermo Fisher Scientific in Ecublens, Switzerland, as part of the optical emission marketing team. Over the years, Jean-Marc has held various roles, including Application Manager and Product Manager for spark OES spectrometers. He currently serves as the Product Applications Manager, responsible for applications of inclusion analysis by spark OES and collaborations with partners in the metallurgical industry.
