This is the second week of the ‘Name That Metal’ challenge. Every Tuesday this month we will be asking you to see how well you know your metals and alloys. We have analyzed a sample and taken a screen shot from our handheld XRF analyzer. Can you guess what the metal/alloy is by looking at the analysis results? We’ve given you some hints. Don’t peek at the answer until you’ve taken a guess.
Today’s challenge involves two types of corrosion-resistant alloys. They visually look the same, but handheld XRF analysis shows a difference. Can you Name that Alloy?
