Mines and Technology London – A Must Attend Event for Mining Optimization

XRF analyzer being used in miningMines and Technology London has returned to host its global 2021 exhibition in-person. Mines and Technology, which promotes itself as the largest optimization event in EMEA and Americas, is dedicated to providing a central hub for information on mining optimization and advancement. The event centralizes profit maximization, enhanced production, streamlined operations, and automated processes. According to the Mines and Technology show organizers, the event is “the definitive meeting place for all forward-thinking miners and industry-leading tech providers.” The event’s website highlights a robust experience at this year’s show, including detailed case studies, cutting-edge tech demonstrations, and heated panel debates.

This 3-day event focuses on key themes including turning data into dollars, delivering bottom line profit via technology, tailing dams and water management, transforming mine profitability with automation, and network, communication, and security solutions. Mines and Technology is expected to generate an audience of over 1000 visitors, 120 exhibitions, and 100 mining companies, making the event the perfect opportunity for networking, business growth, and technology information.

We’ll be in Booth G11 where our experts will be demonstrating the latest in portable mining and exploration technology, including portable X-ray fluorescence (XRF) analyzers, that are indispensable for making critical advancements in mining exploration and production. Designed for rugged field environments, XRF analyzers provide on-site qualitative screening directly in-situ or lab-quality quantitative analysis on prepared samples, bypassing the costly and time-consuming process of sending samples to off-site laboratories and waiting days, or even months, for critical data. With rapid sample analysis, you get real-time geochemical data to guide drilling decisions, enable high-productivity operations, and gain a competitive advantage.

This year, our very own Chris Calam, Regional Sales Manager and a 20-year veteran of applying analytical techniques, will be speaking at Mines and Technology about his experience in the industry. Chris has had the opportunity to assist exploration and mineral processing companies in developing, calibrating, and implementing portable XRF into their decision-making protocols in the field. Don’t forget to catch his presentation at the show on December 1st at 4pm CEST. Then stick around and ask him your most challenging mineral identification questions.

We hope to see you at Mines and Tech 2021 and support you in your mining applications. Until then, visit our portable mining and exploration solutions section of the website and download our eBook: A Practical Guide to Improving Mining and Mineral Operations to learn more on advancing your mining applications using unprecedented technology.
