Human Norrin quantitates human Norrin in serum, plasma, supernatant. The assay will exclusively recognize both natural and recombinant human Norrin.
NDP (Norrie disease protein), also known as norrin, is a secreted signaling protein encoded by the NDP gene that activates the canonical Wnt/β-catenin pathway by binding the Frizzled-4 (FZD4)/LRP5 receptor complex. It plays an essential role in retinal vascular development, maintenance of the blood-retina barrier, and inner ear vascularization. Loss-of-function variants in NDP cause Norrie disease and can also contribute to familial exudative vitreoretinopathy (FEVR).
For Research Use Only. Not for use in diagnostic procedures. Not for resale without express authorization.
