GOT1 Antibody (MA5-31526) in WB
Western blot analysis of GOT1 was performed by separating 30 µg of various tissue extracts by 10% SDS-PAGE. Proteins were transferred to a membrane and probed with a GOT1 Monoclonal Antibody (GT638) (Product # MA5-31526) at a dilution of 1:5000. The HRP-conjugated anti-mouse IgG antibody was used to detect the primary antibody.

Target Information
GOT1 is a glutamic-oxaloacetic transaminase is a pyridoxal phosphate-dependent enzyme which exists in cytoplasmic and mitochondrial forms, GOT1 and GOT2, respectively. GOT plays a role in amino acid metabolism and the urea and tricarboxylic acid cycles. The two enzymes are homodimeric and show close homology.
