          HSP90 Antibody (MA5-45117) in IHC (PFA)

          Immunohistochemistry analysis using inflamed colon. Fixation involved formalin. Samples were incubated with Hsp90 monoclonal antibody (Product # MA5-45117) at 1:2,000 for 12 hours at 4°C, followed by Biotin Goat Anti-Mouse at 1:2,000 for 1 hour at RT.           Product Specific Information

          1 µg/mL of MA5-45117 was sufficient for detection of HSP90 in 20 µg of heat shocked HeLa cell lysate by colorimetric immunoblot analysis using Goat anti-mouse IgG:HRP as the secondary antibody|Detects 90kDa. This antibody is reactive with both the constitutive and the inducible form of HSP90. It does not bind to the native form and does not recognize HSP90 from E.coli or yeast.

          Target Information

          HSP90 proteins are highly conserved molecular chaperones that have key roles in signal transduction, protein folding, protein degradation, and morphologic evolution. HSP90 proteins normally associate with other cochaperones and play important roles in folding newly synthesized proteins or stabilizing and refolding denatured proteins after stress. There are 2 major cytosolic HSP90 proteins, HSP90AA1, an inducible form, and HSP90AB1 and mitochondria (Chen et al., 2005 ).
