POROS Protein A & Protein G analytical columns

POROS Protein A and Protein G analytical columns are designed to determine and monitor antibody titer and yield during monoclonal antibody (mAb) development and manufacturing, from samples such as cell culture supernatant, purification process pools, and final formulation.

Protein A columns leverage the high-affinity binding properties of Protein A to selectively capture and analyze mAbs from complex mixtures. Protein A binds to the Fc region of IgG antibodies. It is also effective at binding to the variable region of human IgG molecules (IgG1, IgG2, and IgG4) and fragments with a VH3 domain.

Protein G columns offer broader binding capabilities, including subclasses of IgG such as mouse or rabbit and may be chosen when higher binding affinity is needed. These columns enable precise quantification and characterization of mAbs, facilitating critical quality control applications. Their robust performance aims to deliver reliable, reproducible results, making them an indispensable tool in the development and production of therapeutic antibodies.

POROS CaptureSelect columns for non-traditional mAb analysis

POROS CaptureSelect affinity columns for mAb analysis offer an innovative solution for the characterization of complex, non-traditional antibodies. Utilizing specialized CaptureSelect ligands on a robust POROS bead matrix, this technology offers high specificity, superior binding capacity, and rapid mass transfer, making it an ideal choice for high-throughput and high-resolution analytical applications in bioprocessing workflows.

CaptureSelect ligands offer a unique solution for affinity chromatography. Based on a Camelid-derived single domain [VHH] antibody fragment, these small affinity ligands offer a platform solution for many affinity HPLC challenges. Tailored to bind to specific regions of an antibody, our solution can offer milder elution conditions or fragment analysis without relying on Protein A binding domains.
