Advancements in AllType FASTPlex 2021 International Clinical Webinar
The new One Lambda™ AllType™ FASTPlex™ NGS HLA assay for Illumina™ and Ion GeneStudio™ systems has several advantages over its previous version , including an optimized primer mix for 11 HLA loci, more robust PCR amplification, greater on-target accuracy, an improved DRB primer design, and better locus balance. Exon 1 can be included in the multiplex assay to improve HLA allele resolution. Only one tube is needed to pool 96 samples for NGS library preparation since each sample is given a unique barcode, and only one universal adapter is required. The assay takes less than seven hours to complete and less than 90 minutes of hands-on time.
