Applications
Methyltriethoxysilane is used in production of silicone polymers or silicone resin. It is used in non-metal surface treatment, non-aqueous polymer preparation, manufacture of semi-conductors, coatings and sealants. It finds application as cross linking agent and an adhesion promoter.

Solubility
Immiscible with water.

Notes
Moisture sensitive. Keep the container tightly closed in a dry and well-ventilated place. Incompatible with strong oxidizing agents and strong acids.
