The Tungsten foil, 0.05mm (0.002in) thick, 99.95% (metals basis) may have an oil or oxide coating. To remove the coating, we recommend soaking the foil in very hot water with strong detergent for 10-15 minutes. Wipe the foil with a sponge. Then rinse it with water and dry. This process will remove the coating.
