Invitrogen™ SuperScript™ V VILO™ Master Mix is a ready-to-use master mix designed for fast, sensitive, and reproducible cDNA synthesis in two-step RT-qPCR applications. Powered by SuperScript™ V Reverse Transcriptase, the optimized master mix combines robust performance across a broad range of RNA samples with simplified reaction setup, enhanced reagent stability, and greater workflow flexibility. SuperScript V VILO Master Mix is also available with ezDNase Master Mix for fast and convenient genomic DNA removal prior to reverse transcription.

Features of SuperScript V VILO Master Mix include:

  • Broad RNA input range—supports sensitive cDNA synthesis from 0.1 pg to 5 μg of total RNA
  • Robust performance with challenging RNA—efficient cDNA synthesis from highly structured, GC-rich, degraded and inhibitor-containing RNA

SuperScript V VILO Master Mix combines SuperScript V RT, RNase inhibitor, buffer, dNTPs, and an optimized blend of oligo(dT) and random primers in a single formulation, simplifying reaction setup and helping reduce variability. Its combination of fast cDNA synthesis, robust performance, and flexible room-temperature handling makes it well suited for routine, high-throughput, and automated RT-qPCR workflows.

SuperScript V VILO Master Mix with gDNA Removal allows streamlined genomic DNA removal step. The dsDNA-specific ezDNase enzyme removes contaminating genomic DNA in as little as 2 minutes without affecting RNA, further simplifying the two-step RT-qPCR workflow.

A DTT-free, animal origin-free formulation combined with reduced cold chain requirements further simplifies reagent handling and supports more sustainable workflows.
