CaptureSelect™ ClusterinClear Ligand Leakage ELISA

CaptureSelect ClusterinClear Ligand Leakage ELISA is designed to detect possible leached ligand in purified recombinant expressed proteins from CHO cell lines that have been cleared of CHO-clusterin using POROS CaptureSelect ClusterinClear Affinity Matrix.

The CaptureSelect ClusterinClear ligand, a 14 kD recombinant single domain antibody fragment (VHH affinity ligand), is coupled by multipoint attachment through stable amide bonds to give high chemical stability and low leakage. Even when covalently attached, small amounts of the affinity ligand can leach from the chromatography support and can be present in the flow-through fraction, co-migrating with the target molecule.

The CaptureSelect ClusterinClear Ligand Leakage ELISA is designed for the detection of greater than or equal to 1 ng/mL ClusterinClear affinity ligand that may be present in the flow-through fraction cleared of CHO-clusterin using POROS CaptureSelect ClusterinClear affinity resin. This ELISA can be used as a tool to aid in optimal purification process development and in routine quality control of in-process streams as well as final product.
