Used as matrix for analysis of monosulfated disaccharides and as a co-matrix with 6-aza-2-thiothymidine for sulfated neutral and salivated tri-and tetrasaccharides. Reagent for preparing new fluorogenic AMC-based substrates for cystine amino peptidase (and other hydrolases). Also used as reference compound in the enzyme assay.

Solubility
Soluble in acetone (10 mg/ml) dimethyl sulfoxide (10 mg/ml) and dimethylformamide.

Notes
Light Sensitive, store in dark. Store in cool, dry place in tightly closed container. Store away from oxidizing agent.
