The Oncomine Comprehensive Assay Plus RNA contains a targeted, multi-biomarker panel that enables highly sensitive and robust detection of known and novel fusions covering >1300 isoforms from 49 fusion drivers associated with solid tumors.

Key features of the assay include:
• Detection of targeted known-fusion detection, non-targeted detection of novel fusions, and novel fusion detection with unknown partners
• Highly sensitive and robust methodology with the ability to detect tiny levels of a tumor-specific fusion transcript in background normal RNA
• Robust performance from as little as 10 ng per pool of RNA isolated from FFPE samples including fine needle biopsies

The Oncomine Comprehensive Assay Plus RNA provides the reagents for library construction and two pools of multiplex PCR primers for automated preparation of amplicon libraries from formalin-fixed paraffin embedded (FFPE) tumor samples using the Ion Chef instrument. The assay is optimized for sequencing on the Ion GeneStudio S5 systems with the Ion 550 Chip to enable up to 32 samples and a no-template control (NTC) per run.

When combined with Oncomine Reporter Software, you can focus on key drivers of cancer in your research.
