Applications
It is used as an initiator in the presence of fac-[Ir(ppy) 3 for the photoredox catalyst activated CRP of methacrylates in visible light-induced controlled radical polymerization of methacrylates with perfluoroalkyl iodide.

Solubility
Not miscible or difficult to mix in water.

Notes
Light sensitive. Store away from light and oxidizing agents. Keep the container tightly closed and place it in a cool, dry and well ventilated condition.
