Malt Extract Broth (Dehydrated)

Cultivate molds and yeasts with typical morphology and pigmentation with Thermo Scientific™ Oxoid™ Malt Extract Broth (Dehydrated). Mycological peptone in the medium gives a luxuriant growth of yeasts and molds with typical morphology and pigmentation. Due to the acidic nature of the medium, it inhibits the growth of bacteria resulting in improved isolation of yeasts and molds from materials heavily infected with bacteria.

Malt Extract Broth is a liquid medium recommended for the cultivation of molds and yeasts.
