CAND1 Antibody (PA5-98580) in ICC/IF
Immunofluorescent analysis of CAND1 in A549 cells using a CAND1 polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-98580) at a dilution of 1:100. The cells were fixed in 4% formaldehyde, permeabilized using 0.2% Triton X-100 and blocked in 10% normal Goat Serum. The cells were then incubated with the antibody overnight at 4°C. The secondary antibody was Alexa Fluor 488-congugated Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG(H+L). Cells were counter-stained with DAPI.

Target Information
CAND1 enhances transcription from various types of promoters. It is a regulatory protein that interferes with the assembly of the SCF (SKP1-CUL1-F-box protein) ubiquitin ligase complex and thereby down-regulates ubiquitination of target proteins. CAND1 prevents neddylation of CUL1 by physically blocking access to the neddylation site. CAND1 disrupts interactions between CUL1 and SKP1A and between CUL1 and F-box proteins.
