Daple Antibody (A302-951A) in IP
Detection of human Daple by western blot of immunoprecipitates. Samples: Whole cell lysate (1 mg for IP, 20% of IP loaded) from HeLa cells. Antibodies: Affinity purified rabbit anti-Daple antibody (Product # A302-951A) used for IP at 3 µg/mg lysate. Daple was also immunoprecipitated by rabbit anti-Daple BL10763, which recognizes an upstream epitope. For blotting immunoprecipitated Daple, A302-951A was used at 1 µg/mL. Detection: Chemiluminescence with an exposure time of 30 seconds.

Target Information
This gene encodes a ubiquitously expressed coiled-coil domain-containing protein that interacts with the disheveled protein and is a negative regulator of the Wnt signaling pathway. The protein encoded by this gene has a PDZ-domain binding motif in its C-terminus with which it interacts with the disheveled protein. Disheveled is a scaffold protein involved in the regulation of the Wnt signaling pathway. The Wnt signaling pathway plays an important role in embryonic development, tissue maintenance, and cancer progression. Mutations in this gene cause autosomal recessive, primary non-syndromic congenital hydrocephalus; a condition characterized by excessive accumulation of cerebrospinal fluid in the ventricles of the brain.
