          WWC1 Antibody (703009) in ICC/IF

Knockdown of WWC1 was achieved by transfecting Caco-2 cells with specific siRNA (Silencer® select Product # s23476, s23478). Immunofluorescence analysis was performed on Caco2 cells (untransfected, panel a-d), transfected with WWC1 specific siRNA (panel i-l) or non-specific scrambled siRNA (panels e-h). Cells were fixed, permeabilized, and labelled with Anti-WWC1 Recombinant Rabbit Monoclonal Antibody (Product # 703009, 1:100 dilution), followed by Goat anti-Rabbit IgG (Heavy Chain) Superclonal™ Secondary Antibody, Alexa Fluor® 488 conjuga... Product Specific Information

This antibody is predicted to react with Monkey, Dog, Pig.

Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. The expression systems are developed by cloning in the specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits. Then, individual clones are screened to select the best candidates for production. The advantages of using recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies include: better specificity and sensitivity, lot-to-lot consistency, animal origin-free formulations, and broader immunoreactivity to diverse targets due to larger rabbit immune repertoire.

          Target Information

WWC1 (Protein KIBRA) is a probable regulator of the Hippo/SWH signaling pathway. This pathway plays a pivotal role in tumor suppression by restricting proliferation and promoting apoptosis. WWC1, along with NF2, can synergistically induce the phosphorylation of LATS1 and LATS2. It acts as a transcriptional coactivator of ESR1 - which plays an essential role in DYNLL1-mediated ESR1 transactivation. WWC1 also functions as a regulatior of collagen-stimulated activation of the ERK/MAPK cascade.
