Highest antigen sequence indentity to the following orthologs: Mouse (100%), Rat (100%).
This recombinant protein control fragment may be used for blocking experiments with the corresponding antibody, PA5-111510. In IHC/ICC and WB experiments, we recommend a 100x molar excess of the protein fragment control based on the concentration and the molecular weight. Pre-incubate the antibody-protein control fragment mixture for 30 min at room temperature.
RbAp48-11G10 recognizes full length RbAp48, a 48 kDa nuclear protein first isolated by its ability to interact with the carboxyl-terminus of the retinoblastoma protein (Rb). It is a member of the WD (Trp-Asp) repeat family of proteins. RbAp48 is one of the three subunits of CAF-1, can bind to histone H4 and is a subunit of human histone deacetylase HD1.
For Research Use Only. Not for use in diagnostic procedures. Not for resale without express authorization.
