Highest antigen sequence indentity to the following orthologs: Mouse (82%), Rat (82%).
This recombinant protein control fragment may be used for blocking experiments with the corresponding antibody, PA5-53800. In IHC/ICC and WB experiments, we recommend a 100x molar excess of the protein fragment control based on the concentration and the molecular weight. Pre-incubate the antibody-protein control fragment mixture for 30 min at room temperature.
Carbonyl reductase 3 catalyzes the reduction of a large number of biologically and pharmacologically active carbonyl compounds to their corresponding alcohols. The enzyme is classified as a monomeric NADPH-dependent oxidoreductase. CBR3 contains three exons spanning 11.2 kilobases and is closely linked to another carbonyl reductase gene - CBR1.
For Research Use Only. Not for use in diagnostic procedures. Not for resale without express authorization.
