ARX Antibody (PA5-47896) in ICC/IF
Immunocytochemistry analysis of ARX in immersion fixed U‚87 MG human glioblastoma/astrocytoma cell line. Samples were incubated in ARX polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-47896) using a dilution of 10 µg/mL for 3 hours at room temperature followed by NorthernLights™ 557-conjugated Anti-Sheep IgG Secondary Antibody (red, upper panel) and counterstained with DAPI (blue, lower panel). Specific staining was localized to nuclei.

Target Information
Arx contains two conserved domains, a C-peptide (or aristaless domain) and the prd-like class homeobox domain. It is a member of the group-II aristaless-related protein family whose members are expressed primarily in the central and/or peripheral nervous system. This protein is thought to be involved in CNS development. Mutations in the Arx gene cause X-linked mental retardation and epilepsy.
