PATHFAST B·R·A·H·M·S PCT may be used on:

  • PATHFAST system

PATHFAST B·R·A·H·M·S PCT is an immunoassay for the in vitro quantitative determination of procalcitonin (PCT) concentration in whole blood, plasma or serum on the PATHFAST system from LSI Medience Corporation. The PATHFAST B·R·A·H·M·S PCT assay principle is based on chemiluminescence enzyme immunoassay (CLEIA) and MAGTRATION®* methodology.

PATHFAST B·R·A·H·M·S PCT is CE marked.

Assay Characteristics

PATHFAST B·R·A·H·M·S PCT assay can be distinguished by these characteristics:

Limit of quantitation (LoQ) and limit of detection (LoD) values are rounded to 3 decimal places in alignment with the reported results for the assay.

Precision

Four plasma samples were assayed in duplicate for 20 non-consecutive days. The within-run and total standards deviations (SD) and coefficient of variations (CV) were calculated according to the CLSI document EP5-A2.

*MAGTRATION is a technology of B/F separation where magnetic particles are washed in the pipette tip.
