The Thermo Fisher Scientific Bremen site is exclusively supplied with sustainably sourced green energy, ending our contribution to the combustion of fossil fuels for electricity.
The Bremen site has reduced overall energy consumption with installation of: higher efficiency lighting, heat pumps capturing heat produced during manufacturing, and sensors to reduce unnecessary heating and cooling.
The ZeroWaste label certifies that our Bremen site is achieving 100% diversion from landfill. All material is treated either through prevention, re-use, recycling/composting or Energy from Waste (EfW) / Anaerobic Digestion (AD).
