Overview

QuantStudio 3 and 5 real-time PCR systems are factory-calibrated for quick installation and immediate use. These systems detect differences in target quantity as low as 1.5-fold, allow remote monitoring, and feature optional cloud-based Applied Biosystems analysis modules and data sharing.

 

Designed for both new and experienced users, they support 96-well (0.2ml or 0.1ml) or 384-well (QS5 only) consumables.  The systems also feature multiplexing capabilities for up to 6 targets and software to enable 21 CFR Part 11 compliance.

Sample data

Precise quantification with 1.5-fold discrimination demonstrated by amplification plots for 1.5-fold dilutions of a KAZ plasmid and the standard curve generated from the CT values.

Real-time PCR reproducibility shown by results from amplification of KAZ target plasmid DNA in 10-fold dilutions using the 96-well block.

Melt curve analysis using the online version of the software for 96 replicates of human genomic DNA. 

Genotyping analysis demonstrated by allelic discrimination plot with traces using real-time PCR data for 44 gDNA samples and 4 no-template controls.

Multiplex reaction with four targets plus passive reference for whole-plate amplification plots of 96 replicates of cDNA made from universal human RNA (UHR). Specific to QuantStudio 5 system.
