Correlation plots

Select a minimum of 2 samples to be plotted. The hPSC Scorecard™ software limits the Correlation plot output to a maximum of 12 samples. Correlation plots of Ct or ΔCt values can be displayed.

The correlation between two samples is displayed with scatter plots to the top and right and R-squared values to the left and bottom.
  • To switch between correlation plots of Ct or ΔCt values, click on the Plot button , then select Ct or ΔCt from the Plot drop-down list.

  • Click in a scatter plot to highlight the samples being compared. Double click in a scatter plot to expand the individual plot. Within the expanded scatter plot, hover over an individual point to display the corresponding data values.

  • The line of best fit for the data is indicated in the scatter plot.

  • Where multiple points overlap the color density increases from the light gray of individual points to black where multiple points overlap.

  • The degree of correlation is also indicated colorimetrically in the pane displaying the R-squared value of the correlation. The color scale, from Red (0.00 – no correlation) to Green (1.00 – perfect correlation), is displayed on the bottom of the page.

  • (Optional) Click Download as JPG to save a .jpeg file of the output for your records or for submission as a manuscript figure.
