Applications
Buffer solutions play a substantial role in industrial and physiological processes. Buffer solutions of known and precise pH value allow to set the testing system to measure the samples of unknown pH more precisely and accurately. It is also used in the preparation of mobile phase in high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC).

Miscible with water. Immiscible with alcohol.
