Applications
3-Methoxy-3-methyl-1-butanol is a solvent that compares favorably with its isomer ethylene glycol monobutyl ether. It is employed as raw material for the production of industrial detergents. It is also used as solvent for paints, inks, and fragrances.

Store in cool place. Keep container tightly closed in a dry and well-ventilated place. Incompatible with oxidizing agents. Containers which are opened must be carefully resealed and kept upright to prevent leakage.
