Monoacylglycerol Lipase Antibody in Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin) (IHC (P)) — Monoacylglycerol Lipase Polyclonal Antibody detects Monoglyceride lipase protein at nucleus on mouse esophagus by immunohistochemical analysis. Sample: Paraffin-embedded mouse esophagus. Monoacylglycerol Lipase Polyclonal Antibody (Product # PA5-27915) dilution: 1:500. Antigen Retrieval: EDTA based buffer, pH 8.0, 15 min.

Monoacylglycerol Lipase Antibody in Western Blot (WB) — Western blot was performed using Monoacylglycerol Lipase Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody (Product # PA5-27915) and 30, 35kDa band corresponding to Monoacylglycerol Lipase was observed across cell lines tested. Whole cell extracts (30 µg lysate) of Hep G2 (Lane 1), HeLa (Lane 2), A549 (Lane 3), GTL-16 (Lane 4) and U-87 MG (Lane 5) were electrophoresed using Novex® NuPAGE® 4-12 % Bis-Tris gel (Product # NP0322BOX). Resolved proteins were then transferred onto a nitrocellulose membrane (Product # IB23001) by iBlot® 2 Dry Blotting System (Product # IB21001). The blot was probed with the primary antibody (1:1000 dilution) and detected by chemiluminescence with Goat anti-Rabbit IgG (H+L), Superclonal™ Recombinant Secondary Antibody, HRP (Product # A27036, 1:4000 dilution) using the iBright FL 1000 (Product # A32752). Chemiluminescent detection was performed using Novex® ECL Chemiluminescent Substrate Reagent Kit (Product # WP20005).

Monoacylglycerol Lipase Antibody — Antibody specificity was demonstrated by detection of differential basal expression of the target across tissue tested owing to their inherent genetic constitution. Relative expression of Monoacylglycerol Lipase was observed in Mouse Adipose in comparison as to Low to no expression in Mouse Lung using anti- Monoacylglycerol Lipase Polyclonal Antibody (Product # PA5-27915) in Western Blot. Target Information

Monoglyceride lipase functions together with hormone-sensitive lipase to hydrolyze intracellular triglyceride stores in adipocytes and other cells to fatty acids and glycerol. MGLL may also complement lipoprotein lipase in completing hydrolysis of monoglycerides resulting from degradation of lipoprotein triglycerides.
