VAMP3 Antibody in Immunocytochemistry (ICC/IF) — Immunofluorescent analysis of Cellubrevin in SiHa cells (green). Samples were fixed in paraformaldehyde and permeabilised with 0.25% Triton X100/PBS, incubated with Cellubrevin monoclonal antibody (Product # MA5-34747), followed by DAPI (blue).

VAMP3 Antibody in Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin) (IHC (P)) — Immunohistochemistry analysis of Cellubrevin in paraffin-embedded rat hippocampus tissue. Samples were incubated with Cellubrevin monoclonal antibody (Product # MA5-34747), and followed by hematoxylin.

VAMP3 Antibody in Western Blot (WB) — Western blot analysis of Cellubrevin in A549 (1), 293T(2) cell lysates. Samples were incubated with Cellubrevin monoclonal antibody (Product # MA5-34747), at a dilution of 1:1000.

VAMP3 Antibody in Flow Cytometry (Flow) — Flow cytometry of Cellubrevin in Siha cells (yellow) compared with an unlabelled control (cells without incubation with primary antibody; purple). Samples were incubated with Cellubrevin monoclonal antibody (Product # MA5-34747) at a dilution of 1:100, followed by Alexa Fluor 488-conjugated goat anti-rabbit IgG.

Target Information

Synaptobrevins/VAMPs, syntaxins, and the 25-kDa synaptosomal-associated protein are the main components of a protein complex involved in the docking and/or fusion of synaptic vesicles with the presynaptic membrane. This gene is a member of the vesicle-associated membrane protein (VAMP)/synaptobrevin family. Because of its high homology to other known VAMPs, its broad tissue distribution, and its subcellular localization, the protein encoded by this gene was shown to be the human equivalent of the rodent cellubrevin. In platelets the protein resides on a compartment that is not mobilized to the plasma membrane on calcium or thrombin stimulation.
