HCS CellMask™ Red stain (H32712) replaces the HCS CellMask™ Red cytoplasmic⁄nuclear stain (H32711) as a cell delineation tool for HCS platforms. HCS CellMask™ stains label the entire cell (cytoplasm and nucleus) and provide an accurate backdrop against which the features of interest can be assessed. HCS CellMask™ stains can be applied to cells immediately after fixation or in the last step of multiplexing protocols, and they are compatible with detergent-based cell permeabilization protocols. If only nuclear staining is desired, HCS NuclearMask™ stains can be used for measuring DNA content in addition to enabling robust cell demarcation. HCS NuclearMask™ stains are also available in a choice of colors for multiplexing flexibility.

HeLa Cells labeled with 2 µg/mL HCS CellMask™ Red Stain
Cytochalasin D (CcD) effect on cell size as measured by HCS CellMask™ Blue stain. HeLa control (left) or 10 µM CcD (right) treated for 3 hr before fix/perm.
