Prothrombin and Activated Partial Thromboplastin Reagents

Prothrombin and activated partial thromboplastin reagents are used in tests that are part of a coagulation study used to determine how quickly a patient's blood clots. These reagents are used to perform prothrombin time (PT) and activated partial thromboplastin time (aPTT) tests on clinical blood samples.
