Installation instructions

Please carefully read the Xcalibur/Foundation Software Release Notes prior to installation to ensure success and to avoid any impact to your data acquisition.

Do I need the update?

The update is required for all current and past users of Thermo Scientific Xcalibur/Foundation software and must be deployed on all computers that run or have ever run the software programs listed below. Although Xcalibur/Foundation software is frequently used in support of chromatography and mass spectrometry systems, this update is also required for all current and past users, including those who use Xcalibur/Foundation to process data and are not connected to instruments, and those who have run demonstration versions of the software in the past. Even if you have deleted the software from your computer, you must run this update. The security update applies to users of software programs including, but not limited to:
