The Thermo Scientific Standard Performance (STP) series of Ultra Low Temperature (ULT) freezers, applicable for -80c and -40c storage needs, are known for their high performance and reliability in heavy-use situations, often referred to as the workhorse of busy laboratories.
Our mission is to continue honoring that legacy and to deliver the best customer experience possible. Therefore, starting January 1st 2023, all former REVCO, Forma, and HERAfreeze ULT brands will be consolidated and rebranded under the existing TDE brand.
We will continue to partner with our customers to help advance the latest breakthroughs by delivering cold storage solutions that nurture innovation and advance the continuum of science.

What is the reason for consolidating ULT Revco, Forma and HERAfreeze brands to the existing TDE brand?
It is our goal to ensure that when you choose us as your partner, working with us will be a pleasant experience for you. Therefore, we have decided to streamline our branded STP ULTs by consolidating them under the existing TDE brand.
What differences will be made to STP ULTs?
There is no form, fit, or function differences between the brands except for brand labelling and inner door configurations.
How do I cross reference my existing RDE/FDE/HDE ULT freezer with the brand-consolidated TDE ULT freezer?
A cross reference can be found in Appendix A. Alternatively, if you would like to discuss the change in product branding, please get in touch.
What door configurations are available with the Thermo Scientific TDE ULT?
The Thermo Scientific TDE has a FOUR inner door configuration as standard, but can be ordered with a FIVE inner door configuration when ordered with the factory fitted option part numbers found in Appendix B.
