Recombinant antibodies are produced using specific genes that code for the desired antibodies. These genes are cloned into an expression vector and expressed in vitro. The advantages of recombinant antibodies include: better specificity, animal origin-free formulation, and more lot-to-lot consistency.
ATAD2 is a member of the ATPase family of proteins. Members of this family share a conserved region of around 220 amino acids that contain an ATP-binding site. They also contain one or two AAA (ATPases Associated with Diverse Cellular Activities) domains. ATPase family proteins perform chaperone-like functions that assist in assembly, operation, and disassembly of protein complexes. Involved in the estrogen-induced cell proliferation and cell cycle progression of breast cancer cells.
