Western blot analysis of Alkaline phosphatase (intestinal) using 30µg of HeLa lysate. Samples were loaded onto a 7.5% SDS-PAGE gel and probed with an Alkaline phosphatase (intestinal) polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-29445) at a dilution of 1:1000.

The PA5-29445 immunogen is recombinant protein fragment corresponding to a region within amino acids 161 and 399 of Human Alkaline phosphatase.
There are at least four distinct but related alkaline phosphatases: intestinal, placental, placental-like, and liver/bone/kidney (tissue non-specific). The intestinal alkaline phosphatase gene encodes a digestive brush-border enzyme. This enzyme is upregulated during small intestinal epithelial cell differentiation.
