PA1-20688 detects CCR1 in human samples. This antibody does not cross react with mouse CCR1.
PA1-20688 has been successfully used in ELISA, immunocytochemistry, and Western blot procedures.
The PA1-20688 immunogen is a synthetic peptide corresponding to residues T(7) E D Y D T T T E F D Y G D A T P C(24) of human CCR1.
This gene encodes a member of the beta chemokine receptor family, which is predicted to be a seven transmembrane protein similar to G protein-coupled receptors. The ligands of this receptor include macrophage inflammatory protein 1 alpha (MIP1 alpha), regulated on activation normal T expressed and secreted protein (RANTES), monocyte chemoattractant protein 3 (MCP3), and myeloid progenitor inhibitory factor 1 (MPIF1).
