MA1-33833 detects CD79b from mouse samples.
MA1-33833 has been successfully used in immunohistochemistry (frozen tissue), immunoprecipitation, and Western blot applications. Use 10 ul of the suggested working dilution to label 10^6 cells or 100 ul.
The MA1-33833 immunogen is CD79 alpha/CD79 beta heterodimer purified from WEH1231 B cells.
CD79b is the B cell antigen receptor Ig beta chain (BCR-Ig beta), which associates with B cell antigen receptor Ig alpha chain to form a functional heterodimer that interacts with membrane immunoglobulin (mIg). The mIgM component binds antigen and the Ig alpha /I g beta heterodimer tranduces signals.
