HDAC6 Antibody in Immunocytochemistry (ICC/IF) — 293 cells were stained with HDAC6 (6B4) Monoclonal Antibody (bsm-52086R) at 1:200 dilution, incubated overnight at 4C, followed by secondary antibody incubation, DAPI staining of the nuclei and detection.

HDAC6 Antibody in Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin) (IHC (P)) — Paraformaldehyde-fixed, paraffin embedded human kidney tissue; Antigen retrieval by boiling in sodium citrate buffer (pH6) for 15min; Block endogenous peroxidase by 3% hydrogen peroxide for 30 minutes; Blocking buffer at 37°C for 20min; Antibody incubation with HDAC6 (6B4) Monoclonal Antibody (bsm-52086R) at 1:50 overnight at 4°C, followed by a conjugated secondary and DAB staining.

Target Information

Responsible for the deacetylation of lysine residues on the N-terminal part of the core histones (H2A, H2B, H3 and H4). Histone deacetylation gives a tag for epigenetic repression and plays an important role in transcriptional regulation, cell cycle progression and developmental events. Histone deacetylases act via the formation of large multiprotein complexes. Plays a central role in microtubule-dependent cell motility via deacetylation of tubulin.
