Invitrogen
Rabbit anti 4-Fluoro-7-Nitrobenzofurazan antibody recognizes 4-fluoro-7-nitrobenzofurazan (NBD), a fluorescent compund useful for the labeling of amino acids and other biomolecules and also a commonly used derivatizing agent for HPLC.
4-Chloro-7-nitrobenzofurazan is a benzofuran derivative used as a protein reagent since the terminal N-NBD-protein conjugate possesses interesting fluorescence and spectral properties. It has also been used as a covalent inhibitor of both beef heart mitochondrial ATPase and bacterial ATPase. [National Center for Biotechnology Information. PubChem Compound Database; CID=25043].
