Overview

Revision 1.8.3076.262 contains the following improvements for an improved user experience. This is an update from version 1.7.2401.174.

New features

Two-pass autofocus mechanism in addition to the existing single-pass autofocus option. Two-pass autofocus has been set as the default, providing improved focus accuracy and consistency.
Improved system stability by resolving an issue that could lead to increased memory usage and an unexpected restart prompt.
Improved application responsiveness by resolving an issue that could cause the user interface to become unresponsive.
An elevated Windows Service is used for the software update process, meeting new security guidelines. This approach eliminates the need for embedded credentials while ensuring that software updates can be performed securely and reliably with the required system privileges.

Note: After installation of this new process, previous versions of the software cannot be loaded on the system anymore.
