Use the standard/default or reduced volume sample transfer lines with your Thermo Scientific™ Dionex™ AS-DV autosampler. The reduced volume sample transfer lines maximize the capacity of Thermo Scientific™ Dionex™ Guardcap™ sample preparation vial caps. Compared to the Dionex AS-DV's standard/default 100µL sample transfer line, the reduced volume lines are made from tubing that is shorter and narrower, thereby reducing the transfer line volume by more than 65%. The reduced volume sample transfer lines can also be used for standard applications where Dionex Guardcap sample preparation is not needed. The reduced volume sample transfer lines are available in two lengths for valves mounted externally in Dionex IC systems or internally in Dionex AS-DV autosamplers.

Designed for use with Dionex Guardcap Vial Caps

The Dionex AS-DV sample transfer line provides a fluidic pathway for sample to travel from the sample vial to the injection valve. Dionex Guardcap products are designed to perform sample preparation within the vial cap. The standard 100µL Dionex AS-DV sample transfer line will reduce the capacity of Dionex Guardcap products by up to 80% because more sample must be passed through the Dionex Guardcap vial cap before it reaches the sample loop in the injection valve.

Choose between two lengths

For best performance and to maximize the capacity of Dionex Guardcap Vial Caps, replace the default 100µL sample transfer line with a reduced volume sample transfer line designed for use with Dionex Guardcap products.

  • Use the 35cm (17.5µL) reduced sample transfer line for injection valves located within Dionex AS-DV autosamplers.
  • Use the 70 cm (35µL) reduced sample transfer line for injection valves located within Dionex IC systems.
Use reduced volume lines for standard applications

Reduced volume sample transfer lines can also be used for standard applications where Dionex Guardcap sample preparation is not needed; there is no need to physically change sample transfer lines between applications.
