The TaqMan® Array Rat Hepatocarcinogenicity Card contains 23 assays to predict and assess hepatocarcinogenicity of non-genotoxic compounds in rat. The gene signatures were developed and validated by the Predictive Safety Testing Consortium, Critical Path Institute (Ref 1). The TaqMan® Array Rat Hepatocarcinogenicity Card is convenient and easy-to-use. Additionally, download the SignatureAssist™ Software to facilitate data analysis.

The 23 assays contained in the TaqMan® Array Rat Hepatocarcinogenicity Card are: Cdkn1a, Mt1a, Akr7a3, Cited4, btg2, Ces2,Udpgtr2, Usp2, Aldh1a1, Pspla1, Ica1, Prodh, Mgmt, Anxa2, Psmb9, mat1a, Sel1h, Tap1, Litaf, Ppia, 3 ESTs, and 18S as a control.

Key Features of TaqMan® Array Cards:

• Pre-formatted and inventoried—each card contains a select group of TaqMan® Gene Expression Assays pre-configured in a micro fluidic array, ready to ship to you
• Cost-effective—Gene Signature Arrays are available in economical four-card packages that enable you to simplify your workflow without breaking your budget
• Convenient and easy to use—get the performance you’ve come to expect from TaqMan® Gene Expression Assays without the need for expensive robotics
• Reproducible results—get consistent, reliable data across samples, studies, and labs—the same data quality from card-to-card and lot-to-lot—even with different operators

Easy to Load and Run
Using the TaqMan® array card is fast and simple. The micro fluidic technology uses 8 sample loading ports, each connected to 48 reaction wells. Simply pipette your sample (pre-mixed with TaqMan® master mix) into each sample loading port and briefly centrifuge. Within minutes, your 384-well TaqMan® array card is ready to run on the Applied Biosystems® 7900HT Fast or ViiA™ 7 Real-Time PCR Systems.

Ideal Screening Technology
TaqMan® array cards are ideal for screening applications, from biomarker and toxicology screens to pathway and disease-set analysis. These arrays are part of a collection of TaqMan® Gene Signature Array Cards that enable analysis of hundreds of TaqMan® Gene Expression Assays with minimal effort. TaqMan® Gene Expression Assays are preloaded on the cards so you can standardize samples and laboratory sites while maintaining reproducibility, accuracy, and sensitivity.

Get Results From Limited Samples with TaqMan® PreAmp Pools
TaqMan® PreAmp Pools are pre-pooled sets of TaqMan® Gene Expression Assays optimized for use with the TaqMan® Gene Signature Arrays. TaqMan® PreAmp Pools increase sample target quantity without introducing bias, allowing you to explore challenging RNA samples such as minute sample quantities or degraded material.

SignatureAssist™ Software
Applied Biosystems® SignatureAssist™ Software is designed to be used in conjunction with the TaqMan® Array Rat Hepatocarcinogenicity Signature Card, to classify a compound as either 'positive' or 'negative' for rat non-hepatocarcinogenicity. SignatureAssist™ Software is designed to work with results files in .txt or .csv format exported from the Applied Biosystems® 7900HT Fast Real-Time PCR System or the ViiA™ 7 Real-Time PCR System.
